What is Diversified Chiropractic Technique?
Many diverse chiropractic techniques can be used to manipulate and mobilise joints. Diversified Chiropractic often uses ‘longer-lever’ adjustments, where you are positioned on your side, tummy or back to help create tension around joints, and quick thrust adjustments are made over restricted areas.
This can sometimes result in a popping sound, similar to the sound made when people flex their knuckles. This is quite harmless and is simply the sound of gas being released from the fluid in the joints as pressure is released. This does not cause any harm, nor does a lack of sound indicate that an adjustment was ineffective.
